We all know we need to use the world's resources more carefully, and here in South Lincolnshire we need to drive our recycling rate up, we need to roll out food waste collection across Lincolnshire, as well as further paper and card recycling to become more sustainable as a County.
I am passionate about Stamford's history and heritage along with the historic setting of our local villages. The restoration project I led on the Old Ambulance Station has brought back an old building back into use.
I will continue to work to improve job prospects across South Lincolnshire, by highlighting our area as a place to invest and grow your business, as well as working with existing firms to support expansion plans.
If I am elected, I will ensure that Stamford receives its fair share of funding for road improvements to deal with safety issues, road repairs and potholes. I would promote a sympathetic repair to Red Lion Square which urgently needs addressing.
I will continue to work with our local police to help prevent crime and tackle offences such as speeding and anti social behaviour. I will also support further funding to support our Fire and Rescue Service and investment in flood defences.
We all value and support our local traders and businesses. I will continue to campaign for more funding from Government and enhance the gateways into our Town. I will also continue to support Shop Stamford and its dedicated team.
