For the past ten years I have represented the parishes of Barholm, Baston, Greatford, Langtoft, Stowe, Tallington and Uffington alongside my fellow District Councillor Rosemary Trollope-Bellew as an elected District Councillor for Casewick Ward.
I have lived in and around South Lincolnshire for most of my life, after University I worked for Waitrose before becoming more actively involved at South Kesteven District Council and now as Leader of the Council.
My role as Leader of the Council is to provide effective political leadership and strategic direction for the council which covers an area of 365 square miles and a population of around 150,000 - this includes developing overall strategy, budgets, policy arrangements and service reviews, alongside representing the council in the community and in discussions with regional, national and international organisations and partners.
In May 2021, I was thrilled to be elected as the new Lincolnshire County Council, Councillor for Stamford East Division.
