Remembrance Sunday 1
Remembrance Sunday 2

I had the solemn honour of representing our community at the Remembrance Sunday service. Standing alongside veterans, families, and residents, I laid a wreath on behalf of all those we serve, paying tribute to the courage and sacrifice of the men and women who gave their lives for our freedom.

The two minutes of silence were a poignant reminder of the debt we owe to generations past and present who have served our country in the Armed Forces. Their bravery and commitment to protecting our values must never be forgotten.

It was heartening to see so many members of our community come together to honor this day, from the young to the old, united in reflection and gratitude.

On behalf of the town as Mayor, I extend my deepest thanks to those who organised this service and to all who attended, demonstrating once again the enduring spirit and respect of our community.

Lest we forget.
