Have your say on Lincolnshire's recycling centres
Reform-run Lincolnshire County Council is proposing a countywide booking system for Household Waste Recycling Centres across Lincolnshire.
Yet the council's own consultation found residents were far more concerned about queues, traffic management, site capacity, unloading areas and opening hours.
Many residents are asking a simple question:
Why are we talking about restricting access before looking at ways to improve the service?
Lincolnshire is growing. More homes are being built. More people are using recycling centres. We need to know if the current network is keeping pace.
That's why Conservative councillors are launching a countywide survey to hear directly from residents.
We want to know:
Are queues a problem at your local site?
Do current opening hours work for you?
Would longer opening hours help?
Do we need more capacity at existing sites?
Are there parts of Lincolnshire that need better provision?
